Temple Grandin is a real hero who overcame many challenges to become a top researcher in the field of animal behavior. She lived with autism spectrum disease and dealt with the stigma that goes along with it. The movie does an excellent job of placing you in a person with sensory difficulties' head. But it does so in a way that is fascinating and even enjoyable. There is almost little swearing in the text. This is primarily for adults and older teens due to the real-life turmoil. The film received numerous Emmys, including Best Made for Television Movie, Best Actress (Danes), Best Supporting Actress (Julia Ormond), and Best Actor.
