Here are 12 incredible movies that are also wonderfully clean that you've probably never watched. You may not even be familiar with these.

These are sophisticated, grown-up movies for serious cinema buffs that don't even contain any explicit material. Win-win. Some are even suitable for families and will be enjoyed by kids.

Sometimes all you want to do is relax and watch a fantastic film. You shouldn't be concerned with lewd behavior, excessive violence, dirty lips, or any of that other shit. Sometimes all you want is some pure, unadulterated fun.

These films are appropriate. In addition, they are genuinely quite dramatic, artistic, and thoughtful. This isn't a list of cheeses that are good for kids. Each title has excellent acting, a unique plot, and well-written scripts. These films are suitable for adults and are clean.

Without giving too much away about the story, we'll mention each film along with its general "feel." Rankings by IMDB score and then by RT, although keep in mind that rankings aren't always correct because different people have different tastes in movies. Enjoy!

Before Downtown Abbey was ever a thing, the tidy lives of butlers, housekeepers, and other staff in enormous manors.

What more could one ask for? adults and teenagers.

In addition, this movie is one of the select ones that accurately depicts the novel. One of the greatest books of the twentieth century is generally cited as being Kazuo Ishiguro's Booker Prize-winning masterpiece. Well, read it if you haven't already! then see the film.

3. Mrs. Palfrey at the Claremont (2011)

Good for the whole family, but fair warning: there is a brief scene in which a man runs about naked, but it is blurred out, framed strategically, and otherwise unwatchable.

5. M. Hulot’s Holiday (1953)

French fumbling comedy There is more bumbling and humor than French, so don't be put off by the (very few) subtitles. Probably the source of Mr. Bean's inspiration. family-friendly.

6. Rabbit-Proof Fence (2002)

During the "progressive" integration campaign of the government in the Australian Outback in 1931.

A heartfelt and entertaining story about the victory of family love and will.

Family-friendly, but contains some powerful situations in which kids are taken from their families.

7. The Winslow Boy (1999)

The child denied committing the minor infraction. So his father spends a fortune in court to preserve his honor.

A historical drama with an early 20th century English setting and a story of justice, truth, and honor. family-friendly.

8. The Dead (1987)

The final movie directed by John Huston is a short tale adaptation from Dubliners by James Joyce. A dinner party with an all-Irish cast has the depressing atmosphere of a hip theater performance. adults and teenagers.

The ideal pick for admirers of Jane Campion, John Keats, poetry, and period romances. Like a Jane Austen novel, but darker and more grounded in reality. Intimate (completely clothed) kissing scenes for adults and teenagers.

11. Strings (2004)

An all-marionette fantasy action movie What makes this movie unique are two things: 1) it's actually incredibly enjoyable, and 2) the puppet strings are crucial to the plot. adults and older children.

12. The Golden Boys (2008)

A lovely, quaint, and endearing tale about three elderly men who live by the sea (all A-list actors) and how a woman is introduced into their group.

You are welcome to join the Rotten Tomatoes crowd with their 28% fresh rating if you think that sounds corny.
